Detoxifying Through Food
Fruits
- Any fresh fruits (except bananas) may be eaten. Enjoy fruit that is dark color such as blueberries, cherries and red grapes.
- Dried fruit is allowed if it is non-sulphurated (will look brown in colour)
Protein
- Organic chicken, turkey and wild ocean-grown fish prepared without sauces, breading – either poached, broiled or steamed with herbs and spices.
- Beans: lentils, channa (chickpeas), navy beans, romano, kidney and soy
- Plain organic Yogurt
- Nuts and seeds raw and unsalted sesame, sunflower, pumpkin, flax seeds, almonds,
- Cashews, walnuts, pecans
- Nut and seed butters raw and unsalted
- Whey isolate protein powder, Hemp protein powder, Rice protein powder
- Oils, Condiments, herbs and spices
- Olive oil, pumpkin oil, grapeseed oil, flax oil, hemp oil
- Lemon, Bragg’s amino acids, herbs and spices with no MSG or salt.
- Fresh onions, garlic and ginger add a lot of flavour and aid with detoxification.
